Overall, I would say that this is an attractive piece of design, particularly for your end users who are looking for your site for a particular reason. As someone who works on websites all day, though, and even more relevant, as someone who spends a lot of time in the designs and interfaces gallery here at DA, it's not exactly what I would consider groundbreaking.
That being said, it doesn't necessarily have to be groundbreaking, and looking at it in that light it's pretty solid. The content is easy to follow and cleanly presented, and the navigation is obvious (even if I think the header is a bit tall, at 240px). I definitely like that you've included a secondary nav at the bottom of the pages, which is something that not many people do any more when they use images to build their nav.
I would say that aside from the use of reflected images and abstract swirly brushes, both of which I consider to be a bit overused now (despite being guilty of it myself from time to time), you've got the makings of a successful site here!
Oh this is nice to look at. Although there seems to be quite a few spacing issues with the layout. Like the spaces between the content boxes are all entirely different sizes, it would look much better with a uniform sized space between borders. Also the header text should be a little down and to the right. Oh, just a personal thing, but I think the content boxes would look nicer without the drop shadow.
Other than those few things, it's a really nice design and definitely a good improvement from your previous work.
Waou! Thank you so much for your comment. That helps me a lot My best friend told me exactly the same thing about the spacing issues! I will work on it Thanks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
